Evan Williams:

Evan Williams is an American Internet Entrepreneur and Computer Programmer. Born on Clarks, Nebraska March 31, 1972. He is the third child of Monte Williams and Laurie Howe known as the previously chairman and CEO (Chief Executive Office) of Twitter. He attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln but he left his university because of his life goals.

From the young age, he wanted to become an entrepreneur. After college, he was writing computer codes and free lancing for both Hewlett Packard and Intel. He and his best friend Meg Hourihan co-founded blogger website in Pyra-labs. Pyra was co-founded by Evan Williams and Meg Hourihan in Jan 1999. Blogger was acquired by google for $ 50 million in 2003. Evan was also worked in a series of Jobs as a web developer in many companies of Florida and Taxes.

In 2006, Evan Williams co-founded Twitter with his three friends (Jack Dorsey, Noah Glass and Biz Stone). Twitter is an online news and social networking service. Registered users can post which are called tweets but those who are unregistered they can only read the posts. Evan Williams was the first chairman of Twitter and Twitter became the most powerful platform and useful thing. In Feb, 2009 according to compete.com Twitter ranked the third most used social network. He had six million unique monthly visitors.

Now in 2016, Twitter had more than Rs 319 million monthly active users. August 2012 Evan Williams published online platform which called Medium. According to the October 2013, Evan Williams’s twelve percent stake in the Twitter company and it had worth of around $1.5 billion. He lives in San-Francisco with his wife Sara and two children. His net worth is around $ 1.35 billion according to Forbes.
